Visit FAQ
Questions before your Bomyung visit
Treatment plans are individual and follow an examination. Check enquiry languages and appointment arrangements before travelling.
Information updated:
How long does treatment take?
It depends on the type of wart (flat, common, plantar, molluscum or genital warts), its stage and what has been tried before, so we cannot give a fixed period in advance. At your first visit the clinic assesses your condition and explains a treatment plan, and progress is reviewed step by step.
Is the treatment painful?
Care at Bomyung Clinic centers on herbal medicine (including Bomyunghwan, a Bomyung Clinic treatment) and topical treatment, with pharmacopuncture added when needed. Care is planned to reduce pain, so that people who find cutting or burning a wart hard to bear, including children, can still be treated. The specific approach is explained after your consultation.
Will the wart come back?
Warts often recur. Rather than only removing the visible lesion, Bomyung Clinic also looks at skin recovery and immune condition, with the aim of lowering the chance of recurrence. We cannot guarantee that a wart will not come back; recurrence is checked as treatment progresses.
Can I consult in my language?
Consultations by KakaoTalk, phone and email are available in English, Japanese and Chinese. Spanish is not available; Spanish-speaking patients are assisted in English. From overseas, please email napdyd@naver.com.
How do I get there?
The clinic is a 3-minute walk from Exit 9 of Gangnam Station: Room 1001, 10th floor, Nude Zone Building, 9 Seocho-daero 77-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
What is assessed at a first Korean medicine consultation for warts?
Bomyung reviews the location, number and extent of lesions, when they appeared, pain and everyday difficulties, and changes after previous treatment. Current medicines and general health are also discussed before considering an individual plan involving herbal medicine, such as Bomyunghwan or Bomyungtang, and in-clinic care. A uniform prescription or treatment duration is not set before examination.
What records should I bring if a lesion appears again after freezing or laser treatment?
Note the treated areas, dates and number of sessions, topical products used, and changes afterwards. Describe whether the lesion is in a new area or at a previously treated site. Previous records and the current findings are assessed together; an online description alone cannot confirm recurrence or determine the next treatment.
What should I check before travelling from overseas?
First share your preferred visit dates, length of stay in Korea and consultation language through the existing KakaoTalk, phone or email channels. Ask about appointment availability, assessment and follow-up arrangements before finalising travel. Completion in a single visit is not promised. Spanish consultations are not available; please enquire in English.
