Small bumps on the face
seem to be increasing?

Flat warts are smaller than common warts, have a smooth, flat surface and are common on the face, where they often appear in clusters (American Academy of Dermatology). The AAD also notes that shaving and other hair removal can spread them, which is one reason they may seem to increase. Other skin changes can look similar, so have new or changing bumps on the face checked in person; the NHS advises seeing a doctor for a wart on the face.

When many small, smooth bumps appear on the face or neck, the first useful step is not to decide the treatment from a photograph. It is to confirm what they are, where they began and what may be repeatedly irritating the skin.
