PATIENT GUIDE · SEOUL

When should you have
a wart checked?

Not every skin bump needs the same response. The safest next step is to stop guessing when pain, bleeding, change or repeated return makes the question more important than a photo can answer.

A CLEAR CHECKLIST

Arrange an assessment when one of these applies.

01 · PAIN

It is large or very painful.

Pressure pain, particularly on the sole, can affect walking and needs context.

02 · CHANGE

It bleeds or looks different.

Record the change rather than cutting, picking or trying to remove it yourself.

03 · RETURN

It repeatedly comes back.

Bring the dates and details of previous treatment to make the consultation more useful.

IMPORTANT LIMITS

Face and genital lesions need separate care.

Warts on the face or genitals should not be treated as ordinary foot or hand warts. A website cannot diagnose a lesion or choose treatment. An in-person assessment is necessary to make a decision for you.
