Should I Translate My Wart Treatment Records Before a Seoul Visit?

Not every record automatically needs a certified translation. Before travelling, ask which languages and file formats the clinic can review, then bring the originals plus a short summary of diagnoses, procedure names and dates, body sites, reactions, and medicine names and doses.

“Must I translate my entire overseas wart-treatment file into Korean before a Seoul appointment?”

Confirm the review language and format first

Public appointment-preparation guidance recommends bringing questions, medicine lists and prior records and arranging language support when needed. Certification and required scope vary by organisation, so confirm before booking. Bomyung does not promise automatic interpreting or acceptance of a specific translation format.

Keep originals and add a concise summary

List diagnostic or biopsy wording, freezing, laser, surgery or topical products with dates and sites, and any blistering, bleeding or allergy. Record brand/generic medicine names, strength and dose. Keep the original reports and images rather than relying on a machine-translated copy alone.

  • Original diagnosis, biopsy and procedure reports
  • Procedure names, dates, counts and treated sites
  • Topical products and medicines with strength and dose
  • Before/after photos and order of spread
  • Allergies, health conditions and preferred communication language

Bomyung's assessment and visit preparation

Near Gangnam Station, Seok-Yong Jo, PhD in Korean Medicine, draws on 24 years of wart-care experience to review previous records with the current lesion and plan individual Korean medicine care. First site, spread, treatment intervals, wound recovery, current medicines and allergies are reviewed. Bomyunghwan, Bomyungtang or immune pharmacopuncture are considered only after an individual assessment.

Questions before your visit

Is a certified translation mandatory?

There is no universal rule. Confirm the language and format the clinic can review before booking.

Can photos alone establish the diagnosis?

Photos can support preparation but do not replace examination or any needed testing.

May medicine names be translated?

Add a translated summary but keep the original brand/generic name, strength and packaging photo.
